How Do I Use This Tool?

Once you arrive at the List Page, you can view all of the sSpecs Numbers that apply to your processor family. There are two ways to get to the List Page: either by selecting your processor from the drop down on the main page, or by linking into the Processor Spec Finder tool from another website.

Since there are sometimes hundreds of sSpec Numbers for a given processor family, it can be helpful to use the tool's filters to narrow down the results. You can select values in one or more of the filters and then get the results for your query by clicking the Filter On Selections button. The tool will search the database on the parameters that you assigned, and display the results of that query.

Supported Features

This feature is designed to let you search for Intel® processors with specific features, like Intel® Smart Cache. When the Supported Features filter is used, a message will be displayed to show that all sSpecs listed will have the indicated features.

In the example shown above, the IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 processor has been selected. The filters have been set to show only Intel Pentium 4 processors that are in the 478-pin Package Type, the 90nm Manufacturing Technology process, and have 2 MB of L2 Cache. This narrows down the query results quite a bit, and gives a more manageable number of sSpec records to view. If these filters were not set, the tool would list every Intel Pentium 4 processor in the database.
